In these lands lies the hope for a new future. A future filled with life of both equine and canine, and where food is abundant and easily found. But some wish to seek a different future; one where only one species rules the land. To follow this path is an evil in itself, and those who choose this way of life are forever tainted within their souls with an unquenchable hatred of the opposite species.
The ones who found these lands traveled from a far in search of new land, where the grass and food is forever available and the water runs constantly. Herds of horses and packs of wolves traveled far, seeking such a place, and over time they slowly died out, until only one herd of horses and one pack of wolves remained.
No one knows who first found the Secret Cave, nor how it became known as such. To this day, both sides think it was their ancestors who found the lands of forest and meadow, with towering mountain peaks that blocked the Northern winds all year round, and the cave for which the lands got their name. But both had agreed to celebrate the finding of this sustainable land, and do so every Spring, when little ones first open their eyes and walk on wobbling legs to take their first steps.
--------------------
Today, the land provides nourishment for one herd of horses and one pack of wolves. They have no defined areas, and find the boundaries of their most visited spots twisting together. Meetings are to be expected; whether friendly or dangerous, no one knows. Slowly over time, the land had begun to give sustenance to not only these two species, with their strange understanding of each other, but also to deer and rabbits who wish to escape the coldness from the Barren Lands outside.
